I told Sheldon what I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. He never pushed or rushed me into buying this vehicle. I guess if you have a quality product to sell at reasonable prices, there is no pushing. I felt that this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Kudos to Ruges Subaru! MS
We spoke to Christian about how much we wanted to spend and there was no haggling needed. They put the car in our price range and all we had to do was ask... They gave us a VERY solid trade in amount also. We were very pleased. Great job Ruges!

This is the second Subaru we have bought from Ruges. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, making the buying process a pleasure. Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Rhinebeck. We made the trip from CT, and we are happy that we did.
This was my first experience with Ruge's Subaru and it definitely won't be my last. I had done some research on this dealership and found that it had a devoted following, having been domiciled in the same location since the late 1930's. Within 24 hours I had a firm deal in place and Patrick was able to locate and deliver my new 2014 Crosstrek equipped exactly how I requested it. My vehicle was waiting for me when I arrived and the entire paperwork process lasted perhaps 20 minutes. I'll be seeing them again for sure in 2017 when my current lease expires! - RM
I looked for cars for 3+ months all over the NYC metro area. All of the people at dealers I dealt with were terrible - didn't know the cars, weren't nice, and were incapable of helping me through the process. I recently purchased a used 2008 Outback 2.5i with 85k miles on it from Ruge's. Scott, the Internet Sales Manager that I dealt with, was friendly and direct about the car and in addressing my concerns, and I was able to get the car at a price that I was comfortable with. Overall I found Ruge's to be much less of a high-pressure, hard-sell environment than some of the other Subaru dealerships in the area, which was a welcome change. - MS
I just purchased my first car from Ruge's and what a pleasant experience it was. This family-owned local business is top notch. The salesman are there to help you, not "sell" you. My husband and I had wonderful, professional but friendly service. They not only were negotiable on the price of the car, but replaced everything from the windshield wipers to the brakes at no extra cost. Every thing was fully explained and the salesman didn't want me to leave the lot without making sure I understood all the car's features and was 100% happy.
