Remember Racing in Rhinebeck?

From the 1940s through the early 1960s, stock car racing roared in Rhinebeck on Saturday nights at the Rhinebeck Speedway, a 1/5-mile paved oval track at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. This Saturday, May 7, from 10am to 5pm, check out over a dozen cars on display including two mint condition midget racers during "Racing through History," a joint collaboration between the Rhinebeck and Red Hook Historical Societies. Admission is free with the purchase of tickets to the 2016 Antique Car Show ($12 adults, $10 seniors, free for kids under 12).
