The 2009 Lincoln MKZ is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that makes 263 horsepower and 249 ft-lb of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission tuned to make especially smooth gear changes. The Lincoln MKZ's intelligent all-wheel-drive system is oriented for slippery road conditions and can seamlessly send more torque to the back wheels even before the front ones slip. The system adjusts power from side-to-side as well as front-to-back. The standard-equipment list for the Lincoln MKZ is extensive, including heated and cooled ten-way-adjustable front seats, a reverse-sensing system, dual-zone climate control, painted aluminum wheels, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system, a 6-disc CD stereo, and LED taillights.
